Being a nonprofit or ministry leader is hard work. And, if you are like most organizational leaders, it was never your goal to run an organization. It just happened! Successful, vibrant organizations have leaders whoa re intentional about building their leadership skills. This session will focus on building you as a leader who is prepared for organizational success.
BUILDING AN ANNUAL FUNDRAISING PLAN
It has been said by many that money makes the world go ’round. While this may not be true, we know that leaders of nonprofits and ministries spend a lot of time thinking about money and ensuring there is enough to do what you want and need to do. This session will help you develop a plan to raise the funds you need to support your mission.
ESSENTIAL COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES
Today, communication is all about staying connected with people the way they want to communicate. Newsletters, websites, social media and more are a must. Learn communication best practices for nonprofits of all sizes and how communication ties into fundraising efforts.
PLANNING FOR LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability is about more than just money. It is all about creating a lasting organization, one that exceeds the life of the founder and current board of directors while continuing to fulfill its mission. Its about staying relevant. In this session, we will look at the organization from every angle as we develop a plan for sustainability.
